What has it been like being a model in Dallas?

Being a model in Dallas has literally in all aspects of the word been a dream come true. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be a model. When I was younger and even in early adulthood, I would always get asked by people “Are you a model?” and my response was always “No, but I’ve always wanted to be”. I’m 5’11” and I am a sucker for a good pair of stilettos, so I guess to other people I was always the “model-type”. I have been blessed with a couple of opportunities modeling in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, as well as an opportunity last summer in Los Angeles. Being able to live out my dream in the big city of Dallas has been absolutely amazing, and I owe a lot of that to We Are Fine Line for supporting my dream and providing me with the opportunity to grow as a model in this great city.

Who is your fashion idol and why?

I have always been so inspired and have loved Jennifer Aniston for many years now. Her hair, her clothes, and her minimalist beauty is what I love most about her. She makes fashion and beauty seem so effortless and carefree. She can easily throw on a cute white-tee with ripped jeans and a pair of heels and make it look absolutely amazing!

What are some qualities you find universally attractive in a person and why?

One quality I find universally attractive in a person is having a good heart. I believe one’s true desires, inspiration, dreams, and goals come from deep within. I also am a firm believer in one’s physical health. I have always taken pride in my body as a woman and kept my body in the best shape possible. I am a “workoutaholic” you might say. Nothing makes me feel sexier than having a body that I am proud of.

We Are Fine Line is all about “career women”. Let’s hear some future goals and aspirations!

All throughout my life I have had a long list of things I wanted to be when I grow up, one of them being a high-fashion model. However, as I got older…I started to realize that I wanted to make an impact on people’s lives and help people for a living. That is when I decided to pursue Speech-Language Pathology as my major in college. I am happy to say that I recently graduated with my Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and am currently a Texas State Licensed Speech Pathologist! My job is to rehabilitate my patients so that they are able to live a fulfilled life and communicate as functionally as possible. My ultimate career goal is to open up my own private practice and have a connecting therapy dog program running alongside my business. With all of that said, I am also planning on pursuing and living out my dream of modeling as well. Who says you can’t have the best of both worlds?
